Items of Want 050

I’m not usually a graphic tee kind of guy but this shirt is just plain cool. Great colors and a classic design make it a winner in my book.

I never heard of these guys before but as a company/family, they did a Wilderness Collective motorcycle trip not too long ago. I can’t seem to find the video from their trip at the moment but it really made me miss being on two wheels.

Worn & Wound Watch Winder

While I haven’t dug too deep into the arguments for or against watch winders, I still would like to have one of these to keep from having to set the date and time on one of my watches when I rotate its use. What I like about this winder is that you can set how long you want it to wind for. See, I’m not in favor of the ones that just rotate endlessly. You wouldn’t keep your car running all the time just so it’s ready to go, right?

Sierra Hotel Mach 0.2 Helicopter Decal

I’ve never ridden in a helicopter let alone flown one but this product’s description, an adaptation of those famous words spoken at the beginning of The Right Stuff, sold me. It also has a great design and just the right amount of subtle humor.

“There was a demon that lived in the air. They said whoever challenged him would die. Their controls would freeze up, their helicopters would buffet wildly, and they would disintegrate. The demon lived at Mach 0.2 on the meter, one hundred and forty-eight miles an hour, where the air could no longer move out of the way. He lived behind a barrier through which they said no man could ever pass...“

GORUCK MACV-1

These boots just started shipping so you’ll be hard pressed to find a thorough review but I’m still very much interested in a pair. I actually chose this photo because I don’t think any boot looks or feels good right out of the box, you have to break ‘em in and make ‘em your own. I’d like to see what these boots turn into after being put through the ringer a few times.

Saddleback Coffee Mug

After seeing how this mug is made, you’ll probably want one too.
